Injection Therapies

Prolotherapy

Prolotherapy involves injecting a mild irritant—commonly a dextrose (sugar) solution—into areas of ligament, tendon, or joint weakness. This controlled irritation triggers a mild inflammatory response, which signals your body to increase blood flow and stimulate collagen production, strengthening connective tissues.

Platelet rich plasma (PRP)

PRP uses your own blood’s platelets to stimulate tissue regeneration. After drawing a small amount of blood, it’s spun in a centrifuge to concentrate platelets, which are then injected into injured tissues like tendons, ligaments, or directly into joints. These platelets release signaling proteins that promote new cell growth, reduce inflammation, and enhance healing.

Protein Concentrate (PC)

PC therapy, unlike PRP, isolates and concentrates specific bioactive proteins like Alpha-2-Macroglobulin (A2M) and Interleukin-1 Receptor Antagonist Protein (IL-1ra), fibronectin, and others, rather than just platelets. Protein concentrate may be used as a standalone treatment or in addition to PRP, offering the potential for increased longevity of a single treatment and reduction in the number and frequency of treatments overall, particularly in patients with osteoarthritis.

Nerve Hydrodissection

Nerve hydrodissection is an ultrasound-guided technique in which a fluid solution is injected around a compressed or entrapped peripheral nerve. The fluid mechanically separates the nerve from surrounding scar tissue, fascia, or adjacent structures that are restricting its movement, relieving compression and restoring normal nerve mobility. This approach is commonly used for conditions such as carpal tunnel syndrome, cubital tunnel syndrome, thoracic outlet syndrome, and nerve entrapments following surgery or injury. Because it addresses the mechanical cause of nerve compression directly, hydrodissection can provide relief where other treatments have not.

Scar Tissue and Fascia Injections

Scar tissue, whether from surgery, injury, or chronic inflammation, can restrict movement, entrap nearby nerves, and contribute to ongoing pain long after the original tissue has healed. Scar tissue injections use a targeted injection technique, often combined with hydrodissection, to mechanically release adhesions and improve tissue mobility in and around the scar. This treatment is frequently used for post-surgical scars and scar tissue that has developed following significant soft tissue injury. Fascia is the connective tissue network that surrounds and supports muscles, nerves, and joints throughout the body. When fascia becomes restricted, thickened, or adhered, due to injury, overuse, surgery, or prolonged immobility, it can generate pain and limit movement well beyond the original site of dysfunction. Fascial injections use targeted fluid injection under ultrasound guidance to release restricted fascial planes, improve tissue glide, and restore more normal movement patterns. This treatment is often used in combination with other regenerative therapies as part of a comprehensive approach to musculoskeletal pain.

Functional Medicine & Hormone Therapies

Hormones shape how we feel, function, and thrive—especially with hormone imbalances and during key transitions like perimenopause, menopause, or times of chronic stress. As a provider who specializes in women’s hormonal and endocrine health, I offer a deeply personalized approach that goes beyond symptom management. Whether you're navigating PMS, PMDD, infertility, pre-pregnancy planning, hot flashes, fatigue, weight changes, mood swings, insomnia, or irregular cycles, we’ll work together to uncover and address the root cause.

I combine the best of evidence-based naturopathic medicine (herbs and lifestyle) with advanced tools like bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT), targeted endocrine support, and nutritional optimization to help your hormones work for you—not against you. This is hormone care that’s proactive, not reactive. Grounded in science. Designed around you.
